Behind the Club
The Property Professionals Breakfast Club was founded in 1987 by Steven Parnes & Harvey Selby.
Since 2015 their vision has been carried forward by Richard Carlowe and Rob Soltanie, who oversee the speaker programme, nurture the Club’s distinctive culture and ensure its continued relevance and integrity.
Richard Carlowe
CEO, Kirsch Group & Ground Rent Specialist
Richard brings nearly 30 years’ expertise as a ground rent specialist, having built one of the UK’s largest ground rent businesses with the Tchenguiz family, and also played a leading role in the Wiliam Pears Group’s successful major NHS LIFT projects.
As CEO of Kirsch Group since 2023, he manages a significant residential ground rent portfolio.
Outside of work, he manages both Totteridge Tennis Club and The Old Haberdasher’s Association.
Since 2015, he has co-chaired the Property Professional Breakfast Club.
Rob Soltanie MRICS
Director and Co-founder, Fortune Green Capital
Rob Soltanie MRICS has over 20 years of experience in London’s residential and commercial property markets. He co-founded Fortune Green Capital in 2014 and is known for his pragmatic approach and ability to quickly identify value in complex transactions. Rob specialises in acquiring existing buildings across London, with a strong focus on value-add opportunities.
An active dealmaker, he is recognised for his vast black book of contacts and his ability to unlock value through his extensive network, often creating opportunites that others overlooked.
Since 2015, he has also co-chaired the Property Professional Breakfast Club.
