Club Rules.
Membership:
Prospective members must be nominated by an existing member. All applications are subject to Committee approval. The Committee reserves the right to decline membership without explanation.
Membership is granted to individuals only and is non-transferable. If a member cannot attend a session, it is not permitted to allow for a colleague to replace them.
The annual subscription is £260, subject to annual review. Fees are calculated pro rata for mid-year entrants. Where four or fewer meetings remain in the year, membership will be invoiced to include the following year.
Upon acceptance and receipt of payment, members will be issued a name badge and added to the Club’s correspondence list.
Members are expected to wear their badge to each meeting. Replacements may be requested in exchange for a discretionary donation.
Members are encouraged to engage professionally with one another. However we do ask for respect to be given to members who don’t wish to engage.
Should you do any business with members of the club, the ethos since 1987 has always been for a voluntary donation to be made to the club which will then be donated to charity. This is encouraged. It is not, however, strictly enforced.
If a member is believed to be dishonest or behaves in a manner not in line with our values, membership can be revoked without any notice or refund provided. The Club Committee’s decision is final.
Guests:
While members have historically been encouraged to bring guests, attendance is now subject to Committee approval due to limited space at the current venue.
Requests for guest attendance must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. Please email info@ppbclub.com
A guest fee of £30 is payable in advance.
A guest may attend only once. Thereafter, membership is required.
Club Events:
The Club hosts occasional social events.
Fees, where applicable, must be paid in advance.
Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Although priority will be given to members who have not attended similar events in the past.
Photography & Discretion:
Photography and social media are permitted, unless otherwise requested by the speaker. In such instances, discretion is expected. The recording of sound and/or pictures is expressly forbidden however.
Chatham House Rule applies. Please keep the content of speakers and members discreet. A breach of this confidentiality may result in a permanent ban. The committee’s decision is final on all matters.
